Iya D. Merilles

Iya D. Merilles is a skilled attorney with a distinguished academic and professional background. She joined our firm as a post-bar law clerk and has since become an integral part of our team, specializing in arbitration matters. Iya earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business and Economic Law from the USC Gould School of Law in 2024. Before coming to the United States, she completed her Juris Doctor degree at the Ateneo Law School in the Philippines. Admitted to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in 2022, Iya was recognized by the Philippine Supreme Court for her exemplary performance, placing in the Top 10% of those who passed the bar exam. In November 2024, Iya passed the California Bar exam, further solidifying her dedication to legal excellence.
